Hihi! Rika-chan asked me to write something nice for you, and I think you deserve it ☆ I don't normally do this stuff, but you've been a huge help since I wound up here!

[ He's not good at this. He's good at faking things, good at putting on that cutesy act...but truthfully, he's feeling a little weird, saying all these nice things. It's not like he doesn't mean it, either, which is the worst (??) part for him, personally. He's not used to it. He's not used to caring this much.

This is Noah. I'm sure you can tell by the writing. I'm not good at writing letters, so sorry.

I don't think anything I say will be surprising to you, and maybe this is too forward since this is supposed to be a gift. Maybe it'll make you unhappy, rather than what's intended, and if it does I'm really sorry.

[The entry pauses there because Noah, in his anxiety, has stopped to draw a cat with its paw in a goldfish bowl. This is a drawing that only Nene will understand probably.]

I always thought you were impressive from the first day we met in the kitchen and I was confused by how to work the stove or do anything practical. I'm still confused, but that's not the point. I'm glad that you've stuck around so far, and that you've been with me through all of this, even if our first introduction was weird because I didn't know how to talk to you. Sometimes I still don't.

You're everything I'm not, and that's a lot of things. You're brilliant and beautiful and your presence makes everyone a lot happier. I know that's true, because I always hear that about you, and I always see you brightening people's days. I just don't know how to say that. I'm not good at words, and I don't think there are enough words to say how much you mean to me. Everyone loves you. I love you, too, but you probably already knew that. I think I made it obvious.

If it wasn't obvious, um... well. There you go. Maybe I should have said it to your face, but there's never a good time for that.

Anyway, I don't really expect anything to come from it, but I thought reading it might make you happy. If it makes you sad, I'm sorry.

If you need something, you'll tell me, right? I'll always be there to keep you safe, and... when we get out of here, I'll tell everyone about you.
